We will no longer present, see features and capabilities of the machine manufacturer on the site.

Small boiboite comprehensive. Many opportunities and connections almost complete (I saw a pair of stereo inputs for keyboards to pass in)

UTILIZATION

Operation is simple. As I am a backlog, I do not use softwares editing on a PC because I just bought this machine to do without the PC.
With POD, you press the ON button and you're playing live, no boot, no sound card, no software to load, no adjustment buffer PCesques and whatnot.
In short, a tool for guitar.
In this context of use, the POD is very ergonomic I find the editing of sounds is simple and is done by menu. You choose an amp and a cabinet base, the transplanted micro, effects, etc ... it's damn short.

SOUND QUALITY

The simulation sound good. There's no problem. Frankly, beyond the tussle lights - transistor - simulation, you must be damn pointlleux to find anything to complain about the pod xt simulation (in a recording, we hear well)
Compared to the POD II, the xt sound really brings opportunities with additional stomp boxes and the choice of microphones.
This allows you to get closer to the sounds of his idols.
In addition, the Converto integrated (USB) is really nice and can model quickly, without any other stuff (his PC)

For sound quality in a context of registration: 9 / 10

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over a year.
I love to do without my PC and have any sound imaginable in one small box (normally, something which does nothing as well. The pod xt is it the exception that proves the rule?)

Level simulation, I also have experience at all with the transistor and triac Sansamp GT2 home Tech21. it sounds great too, but of course not as complete.

Conventional amplification level, I have the experience of the transistor with marshall and lamp with Rivera.

Both for rehearsals and the live, many hesitate to take the pod xt (or help in a pinch), both in recording, I do not come to the idea of using something else (I have yet to good preamps and a hand microphone very correct) -> Given the simplicity and speed of implementation and the result obtained, the POD xt is really the ideal tool in this ocntexte.

The value for money is pretty good, considering the enormous possibilities of the machine (compared with the Tech21 products or a set of soft sound card + simulation)

With experience, I would do without a doubt the choice for use as a tool for recording.
Again, for this use in particular, I assigned an overall rating of 9 / 10
