« Good POD Line6 »
Published on 11/23/11 at 18:47there is a bank and sound effects pre-programmed into the machine. There remains a multitude of banks to create their own sounds.
The knobs are those like a standard amp: drive, bass, middle, treble, presence, volume, reverb, and headphone volume control.
a knob to select the type of amp and one for the effects.
It is a multi-effects, so around the screen we find the panel button to set sounds and effect, the tuner.
POD when connected to the computer, ask to make software updates, as well as download some software, like line6 Monkey just for the update.
In connection, there is an output for headphones, of course input for guitar, 2 outputs for connecting HP directly above (left / right), a plug for the pedal, USB for connection to the computer, and finally MIDI in and out
UTILIZATION
The manual is entirely in English, which makes it difficult to use for non-bilingual like me, but the creation is done quite easily, even with little knowledge of English!
I personally find the manual if it is in English is useless.
The grip is rather intuitive, if not touching little by little, we quickly use.
SOUND QUALITY
For sound, I would say that it is very good, although I always play with headphones.
Some sound banks are useless, as in many multi-effects, creating his own a lot of patience, because to move a hair on his changes.
By downloading the software Line6 Edit, the ability to create and set sounds directly from the pc
OVERALL OPINION
I have for some years now, I believe 2006.
I was looking for a multi-effect with drum machine, and the ability to register and create music.
So I was disappointed to discover that there was no drum machine. The software to create their own music (RiffWorks) is no longer being marketed, I think.
Not that I do it again this choice because it's not really what I wanted, but at the time my English was not what it is today (typical English)
Otherwise it's a great multi-purpose, if we want to bother with an amp, just create his own sound, plug in the pod on the sound system, and off you go!
