«  Good amp for beginners blues-rock »

Published on 07/04/12 at 02:13
Value For Money : Excellent
HP 25W transistor amp 10-inch
2 channels: clean and drive (only the gain and volume are adjustable for the drive, the pots of equalization act on both channels)
The channel change is on the amp, no switches included ... I recommend the additional purchase of an overdrive pedal (see reason below).
reverb
Guitar Input
headphone

UTILIZATION

No manual, but need not, use is simplistic.
Just clean the passage of the drive, without which pedal is not practical requisitioned.

SOUNDS

It depends what you're looking. This is obviously not the "big" sound, saw the "small" price of the device. But still, the sound is pretty good in clean (a little too sharp, but it is adjustable), and the drive makes a nice crunchy sound American if you do not boost too ... Beyond the half saturation becomes dirty and noisy, unusable ... To overcome the problem I bought a distortion pedal (the Boss dual overdrive SD) and miraculously, the sound is really not bad at all.
I used it in requisitioned and at home. In requisitioned, he is correct, the sound is not wonderful, but the push does not affect its quality too. At home it is not usable because in the end for a 25 watt sending it a lot! (I put it just below 1 to not disturb my family!).

OVERALL OPINION

A good value for money in the end, although it must keep in mind that for a hundred euro nothing can be miraculous. But for that price, the amp is rather the blow, especially requisitioned for its operation. For the same price, you can get some gear "house" with a better sound, but with less power, therefore inoperable requisitioned ...
If you play rock, not too hard (or so with a distortion pedal), or blues or country, this amp is worth it for a beginner, or for occasional use ...
