Amp-prvu for all genres, quite versatile.
OVERALL OPINION
I use this amp since ending for two years. I needed a powerful amp for my RPTES (guitarist of a rock band, punk, emo progressive ,...) in April that he was my mg100dfx rpondait expectations: excellent power-to-qualitprix!
Good to dpart we hack, we try to sound DIFFERENT ... this amp is versatile and trs Magic ... we go from clean to saturated by 0.001sec with the footswitch (for a nickel p'tit "wake me up" by Green Day)
The saturation is at the top with my guitar (Ibanez s520ex hh: p) that said, I had the opportunity to try a guitar with low end, c'tait diffrent fully with the distortion in odd2 gain a background it was like with an acoustic guitar xD ... it is to say that the sound varies with the guitars.
If not for the power ... Nothing to say! I never Exceeds 1 / 4 in RPTES with our drummer who types like crazy ^ ^ I have to say and live less than half. This amp possde a big Reserved (in overdrive channel).
Do not try to put it in the bottom channel ODD2, personal essay I've ever I want my ears too!
If you miss the worst of power, you can re-balance the sound on your sound system via the output jack on the amp.
For the history fan, I think it is worth mentioning that as a problem because the noise is low and when you start playing, it's even less a problem.
This is the amp for you if you play your rock (all genres) except mtal dull and heavy, or you need to adjust pedals an effect, however, the channel with the gain ODD2 max can do the job and your solo is hell.
I would recommend this amp for particulirement scratch ® religion to play in a band, will be a shame to take and put a 100W all the way down to his room to make his lines ...
I will give 9 / 10 has this amp too much for the 100W, practical and Aesthetics!
