Published on 10/13/02 at 15:00I purchased this guitar at the guitar center. I payed 300.00 for it.
I love the floating tremelo [floyd rose] and the pickups are somewhat heavy. I bought this as a backup guitar and it seems to perform well. The guitar stays in tune due to the locking headstock.This is the best guitar for the money.
The sound wasn't too impressive for me. For a guitar that lists at 600.00 i would have expected a higher quality humbucker.
the construction is ok. Its nice in most places but ibanez have crappy inputs. My input on my other ibanez broke and this one is already loose.
Overall, a good guitar for the intermediate player just sop it up and put some emg's in there.
