Installing PRO TOOLS 6 on MAC PowerBook

Hi, I have old version of Pro Tools 6 that I use with MAC G4 and Digi 001 and need a program to do editing etc on my laptop (MAC G4 Powerbook). Can I install this same Pro Tools on laptop and use with the internal sound card for basic editing etc or do I need to have a compatible sound card such as DIGI 001 for it to work?
