A note on the serial loop, a switch that allows you to compare the processed sound with the original.
Special mention to the pedal comes who knows almost everything (channel selection, masters of the para loop and reverb, connects with a standard jack.
MIDI to as the pedal but 128 memories.
Master volume damn good that you can play at low volume with its quite acceptable.
The ideal characteristics for me are the 4 channel version in 50w, but it does not exist in this power. Damage.
UTILIZATION
El manual será útil primero para establecer el pedal o usar MIDI. Por lo demás, es lógico. Los LEDs nos dan información sobre el canal y las funciones (reverb, bucle para, maestro) que se utiliza.
Como recordatorio, cada canal tiene tres variantes: verde, naranja y rojo para igualar los niveles de ganancia más importantes y diferentes voces. Para ello será necesario el compromiso sobre la igualdad. Los problemas provienen principalmente debido a las diferencias de volumen entre las variaciones.
En el canal limpio, el volumen es inoperante en el green. La naranja es significativamente más débil que el rojo. En el canal de OD, el verde es realmente tan fuerte como los otros dos son más o menos equilibrada.
Originalmente, la naranja y el canal OD rojo producen un ruido de fondo considerable y este canal es en general menos cargados bajo que el canal limpio.
También hay un ligero zumbido que desaparece cuando se pone una entrada de buffer. Si un técnico tiene una explicación, me interesa.
Amplificador muy versátil para hacer frente a casi todos los estilos.
SOUNDS
Este amplificador proporciona sonidos muy típico de la marca, con muchos medios. Con 6 voces, EQ, presencia y resonancia muy eficiente, podemos esculpir un sonido satisfactorio.
Tél sonido limpio es muy cálido, pero no se estrelló. Los sonidos ligeramente distorsionadas son divinos (cuando amas Marshall). Los sonidos muy distorsionados son un poco más atrás, a falta de definición y la producción sobre todo ruido muy fuerte. Son todavía muy bueno.
Por contra, me pareció una falta general de patata luz y los medios de comunicación verdaderamente penetrantes, sabiendo que si se corta por el EQ, no sale en la mezcla.
Así que hice algunos cambios menores para tratar de corregir estos defectos de menor importancia.
For starters, I changed the HP for a much more dynamic Celestion V30, and I know perfectly behavior. To break her screaming because I installed a Tubetown diffusor, which removes unpleasant frequencies and optimizes the distribution from all angles.
I then tested different lamps preamp and opted for a 12AY7 in V1. These lamps produce half the gain of a 12AX7, so it was an overall reduction of about 25% on all channels. Result: more definition, especially on OD orange and red channels and especially the virtual disappearance of the background noise on these channels. However, there is enough gain to loosen dentures.
Last modification on the advice of Gillou Lyon, I installed in KT77 power tubes. They produce more bass and a little less mids, the sound is (a little) more "HiFi" less English and more American. They also twist later than EL34. However, the sound is very rough and is not fundamentally distorted.
Once these few things done, I'm really an amp for my taste, and whose main drawbacks are erased.
I would note 7 to the original config but with 9 mods (within reach of everyone, even welding to do, just a bias of the power section)
OVERALL OPINION
Se utiliza con regularidad o vivir en casa, este es un amplificador que suena profesional y puede caber fácilmente en una mezcla. Se acepta fácilmente distos OD o externos, aunque tiende a aplastar a su fuerte personalidad. Sin embargo, respeta las guitarras que están conectados.
The production is neat and faithful to the original design of the brand guns, finally rather simple sophistication is ultimately for the selection of channels, the signal path is traditional.
Once adopted, when testing other amps, they often find very bland compared to it. The value for money is evil in time.
Odd that its flaws have not been addressed in the design, there is nothing complicated or frankly insurmountable.
This is not my main amp, but spare a luxury. I'm not ready to part with, I love it.
