Any lamp (2 EL34 for the power and Tagus 5 12AX7 for prampli).
30 watts but ... "Class A"! drummer, you're going to smoke like a turkey!
A typical input and output for the effects loop, an additional exit to get into a mixer, a magneto or whatever you want (Warning: not a headphone or you will protonated cages honey!).
On the front panel: Distortion channel: gain (call "volume", bass, mid, trebble and master volume with a boost possible.
Clean channel: gain, bass middle and trebble, MASTER VOLUME, with a sort of boost on the master knob call "ninja" and a system of changing frquences "mids" on the mids ... knob And finally there is the level of reverb, a knob for "prsence" and two between "high" and "low". Also another "pull-push" on the knob trebble can have a function "bright" supplmentaire.
Finally, the footswitch can change channels and start up the boost on clean channel and channel saturated.
UTILIZATION
So easy to use ... Take your distortion pedals! You plug in and you play! Attention rglages legalization of the two channels are super sensitive! 4, not 4.5 ...
It's pretty easy to get a lead sound really marshall sound and crystal clear trs good crunchy.
English manual but clear of all calves from the "pull notch," everything else is fairly standard.
SOUNDS
For what I play, blues-rock and blues-rock (!) With soft (style little wind) and less refined (the right style boogie down), this amp is phnomnal. I connected a custom shop Stratocaster 60 'classic closed, and:
In his clear, pure sound is trs, trs brilliant, the reverb is quite fine. If I put the knob volume (gain) 5, and the master 3 / 4, I and deep sound fabulous and if you know the intro of "castles made of sand" to Hendrix, you see I come get it. In addition, the "bright" is really good ... I always let the sounds clear, has allowed me to have a brighter appearance that adds depth supplmentaire not "eat" the bass. The master volume plays its rle, and since the noise levels low enough remains substantially the same one you have by pushing the Tagus to the power amp ... The channel has really saturated tape ... I had this one before Clubster 45 and even if I found it really good, the diffrence on the channel is saturated empty: the grain of chubster is incredible! In 5 minutes there's a really amazing when I long for the Clubster: I have the volume (drive) 10 and without a boost sounds like in the disks of Page, Beck and Co. Gallagher. ... The attack mdiator normemnt modulates the sound (well, it's also the guitar a little, but the amp can improve a)
In addition, the volume of knob scratch, I spent a big crunch of 6 very brilliant 10 on the distal smooth and deep ... Trs is thundering and exhilarating.
The sounds on the chubster is what made me buy this amp (with prices).
OVERALL OPINION
I've had one week but I think I'll boil a long time .... To play stuff from the cool (blues slow quiet) boogie rock pchu well, when you love the sounds and warm vintage, this amp is really the bomb. No need to have a JTM 800 plus a deluxe reverb and especially not need any distortion pedals of. I tried before, my Clubster, and then:
Fender (the distorted sounds are less close to what I'm looking on the hot rod and company, although the crunch I had the opportunity to test a bassman ... But I still rve cruncher to a bassman amne headphone, must play in the big room), Marshall TSL (dception), Vox acc2 (the new one: but I did not like saturated), Brunetti MC2, Engl classic, Laney TT50, Soldano reverb o sonic and Astroverb (parenthse between the saturation of Soldano is extraordinary but less deep end and clear when there are reverb-o-sonic), and to my taste, is Chubster exactly my expectation in terms of sound. But beware, it's also with my stuff and my fingers as a glue ... Last point.
