GETTING STARTED

I mailed the notice to contradict much of what is in the opinion cit previous ones, know that there is no ASIO driver. It is perfectly true. TonePort is the driver of an ASIO driver developed by line6. No cracking, no latency recording. And yes, I use Cubase and Nuendo also, and Ableton Live.
The optional plug-in is available by paying an extra $ 199 which is a good marketing stunt, but a bit expensive I think.

OVERALL OPINION

So a good product that trs MRIT that there INTERESTED PRS if recorded mainly guitars, basses, and even vote because the simulations prampli sound really tr s good. But there are better (much) more expensive and less versatile, so for the budget minded, it's a bargain. The KB37 seems to be a trs good deal for those who have more need of extra keyboard.

I put all 10 back to the note I mentioned prcdemment. I put all fawn between 9 and 10 on the report quality price.

UX2 followed me on the PC 3 and I never encountered any problems of instability. It does not crash ever.

UTILIZATION

Very easy. I dj a PODxt Live and silent GearBox already installed. I had that connect the device to the USB port and install the pilot alone.

I have a POD XT Live, so I bought the UX2 for my acoustic recordings (voice and guitar). GearBox software is very simple to use and ergonomic trs. ASIO drivers also have air trs stable and resource-efficient which is apprciable.

OVERALL OPINION

I tried everything prs little can be done in terms of prampli (in a range of reasonable price) for my records: Behringer, Joemeek, Presonus. I could not get back clean, warm and dynamic (with the hand but my installation BLUETUBE dfectueuse electrical noise produced not enjoyable trs). I do not believe in buying it but I admit t have enough "bleuffquot; taken by the quality of voice and other measures that emerge from this acoustic UX2: a configuration based on virtual Neve pramp a small compressor and a low on a LA-2A is pretty amazing. It's hot, with a potato and trs good clean sound amazing, no blasts or parasites. My most surprise was on my rvle be taken of the djembe: until now, my djembe has always sonn "flat" in my recordings, forcing me to rework the track during 1 hour with plug-ins for a rsultat "blah." With the UX2, small test I performed with the pramp "American Classic" (inspired by a pramp API) I was given an incredibly full, reasoning, in relief, with low REALLY Submitted without having to add any plug-in derrire. résumé is in good surprise. The when even a few regrets: no MIDI port (but my USB keyboard so ...) is missing another compressor (even if it is true that the LA 2A is a real r gal), there is no CSA or phase inverter. The -: case very "cheap" and I think poor quality preamp.

Some effects not very successful.
I have not tried anything else because I wanted the line6 for simulations and be able to play without turning on the tube amp when my wife and next reading!

yes I will ever be the choice for the type of use described above and as I'm not crazy about the art of home-studio. Now for the semi-pro it is clear that it is better to move on (RME, etc. ..)

By combining a track "real" guitar (amp socket SM57) + 1prise "virtual amp" by doubling them, I can sound nice compared to the means at my disposal.

For those who want to find good sounds of guitar and bass amp and bypassing micro c top! The software supplied with gear box and super full and qqs time you find your sound.

I've owned it for two years and I love it's ease of use and the guitar simulations. You'll quickly find the sound you need and they all sound very authentic... it's stunning!

It was conceived for musicians who want to jam and record with their PC and refuse to go through the hassle of long amp miking sessions, which end up in lousy results (due to lack of knowledge and adequate gear).

Pros:

- authentic simulations (guitar, bass, preamps)

- Possibility to increase the amp number

- Easy to use, even for DAW beginners

- Amazing Gearbox and Podfarm software tools.

- Value for money

- Very reliable and frequently updated drivers.

- Line 6 professionalism

Cons:

- The output converters are obviously not the best on the market. I just bought an RME Fireface 400 and it unveiled a totally new world to me (but then again the price isn't the same).

- Cheap plastic housing.

- No MIDI

- Quality of some effects.

The value for money is great. You'll be able to quickly record bass, guitar and vocal parts that sound authentic.

Guitar, bass and vocals were recorded with the Gearbox software. I used a SM57 for vocals (connected directly to the preamp of the sound card).

Ableton Live was also included. I heard it's a great sequencer but I never used it.

I wouldn't buy it again just because I don't buy the same product twice........
