US 122L Seperating tracks problem
Hi everyone,

Me and my band just bought a mackie dfx12 and found out we needed an usb audio interface.

We bought the US-122L because it was the most cost efficient for us.

Now, we were told by the man selling it to us that we can record on two different tracks at the same time with different instruments.

This is where the problem started.

In adobe audition 3.0, I set the hardware to read the US-122L as the audio card.

Now, I'm trying to arm two different tracks to record a guitar, and a bass separately. Both plugged in, straight to the Mixer.

I press record, expecting two seperate tracks to record the individual instrument, but it doesnt. It just records both instruments on two tracks.

This may be a very stupid question, but how in the world do I record two different instruments at the same time?

P.S, I armed the each of the tracks to record through, what I thought was, the individual inputs of the US-122.

Sorry if this came out confusing.
