In which country was it made? (USA, Japan, Mexico, France ...)
Japan, evidence of quality in general in Jackson, midrange models from China

How many frets, what kind of microphone and their configuration?
24 frets (very rare for a Randy Rhoads), one microphone active EMG 81 bridge

What type of bridge (Floyd, Wilkinson ...)?
Floyd Rose Original Black

What are the settings (volume, tone, micro switch ...)?
A microphone so no mic selector, just a volume knob
What kind of stick?
Speed neck home jackson maple neck-thru-body with ebony fingerboard. We do not see the picture but there is a binding handle (black)

UTILIZATION

The handle is it nice?
Flat handle (a bit thicker than Ibanez and in a little broader. Very enjoyable to play but mostly solo. The handle is the same all along the bottom of the handle is a bit less convenient if you want to do agreements (but then saw the head of the beast we do not play jazz I think ...)
Access to acute (last string) Is it easy?
Cutting the neck is perfect even for small hands (I know what I mean), easy access to acute (not as much as on a Start with neck-but very good compared to other V-shaped guitars from other brands ). The cut of the heel is too much for.
Ergonomics is it good (in terms of shape, weight ...)?
Guitar perfectly balanced, the handle will not go on the side if you release the guitar, this featherweight guitar despite the fact that it is alder with maple neck-in. Not worth investing in a padded strap to relieve his shoulder with it. on the other hand I straplocks placed on the guitar, there's always a risk with the guitars so the strap is attached behind (but otherwise the original ones are very large and I do not think they would have posed great problem)
Do you get a good sound easy? ...
Provided saturation and especially love the sound of EMGs (since there is no neck pickup, the guitar is not for clean sounds), we get from buying a guitar very well set to play directly into the register of the bass distortion

SOUNDS

Are they suitable for your style of music?
Fan of Thrash / Death is the perfect guitar for technical fireworks thanks to speed driver + ebony neck that does not retain the fingers. An EMG 81 in an alder body, if you like, it does not disappoint, especially with such a quality production!
With what (s) amplifier (s) or effect (s) do you play?
Spider Valve amp from line6, amplifier with distortion (channel yellow metal) + cry baby from hell, Boss NS-2, Line6 Echo Park
What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "fat ",....)?
His bold, powerful and crunchy to perfection (I have always found that the Jacksons equipped with EMG (s) always sounded harder than ESP, their stuff I guess). Not necessary to push the distal bottom to scream the beast, the EMG is there for that and he responds very well. The sound is very clear, every note is clear even if you push everything thoroughly.
In his clear, micro bridge is not the best choice, but there are ways of using a chorus and playing on the treble / midrange of the amp to soften a little while. Again, buy guitar knowingly.
What are the sounds you prefer, you hate?

The bass is wonderful, powerful, aggressive and accurate. Not easy at the moment to leave some harmonics, but is often the case with guitars with 9-42 original. I play with a tie top and a bit more experience on another guitar, the "problem" was solved by changing the set of strings so ...
Treble is also clear, by settling well the amp, no problem too showy solos as may be the case with some other brand of microwave (I will not name).

OVERALL OPINION

For how long have you been using it?
For 1 week and believe it or not but this guitar is a reverse fast hands! The handle may seem strange at first because of its shape fairly flat but once we play, we do not regret its shape!
What thing do you like most/least about it?
+ What I like:
- The precise sound
- Access to augu despite the form!
- Pink Floyd
- The look
- The quality of the finish
- The light weight that still allows to have a very good sustain!

the -:
- A microphone, but that we know before buying (if you want to play clean, avoid this guitar) Perso I'm taking the guitar as secondary. Say what you want, have a little guitar as versatile is not advisable if your only guitar.
- Well ... not much else actually ... There is much talk that this kind of guitar is uncomfortable sitting, but it's just a matter of habit. Just buy a small raised up to your left foot and the guitar will arise naturally, the palm of the 2 horns against the right thigh
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
No other guitars of this type so I prefer not to compare it with my other guitar which is more traditional form

What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Paid € 1090 new guitar now comes with flight case (solid box jackson perfectly matching the body of the guitar, which in addition to fully protect the guitar, takes very little space, nothing to say except that the above in the trade, box costs + / - 140 €!).
The finish is flawless, the colors are no problem wunderful equipment or electronics. A trap-door opening for easy battery (not to unscrew a plate!) The adjustment is not perfect but you can play without problem from above the purchase (and that not all brands can not say the same)
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
Without hesitation, a must for fast play metal with the sound that goes with
