Argh! The worst of the worst. Sounds are fully oriented dance and piano are ridiculous, like all real instruments elsewhere. Obviously, the sound is too strong but good digital that's not supposed to be a surprise to a Triton ... For those who want to do in his commercial background, it's party. The sampling is optional and that's good because it's a bit pointless now unless it's just to load samples for the stage.
UTILIZATION
I was not too triturated in, so I will refrain from commenting on its internal use. It looks to me still quite "simple" (in Japanese simply mean complicated). I like the screen is too small compared to that used to be Yamaha.
The touch keyboard is frankly not great, it's hard to bring the expressiveness with.
Do with it like that.
SOUNDS
The sounds are not very exciting but still correct. There is a kind of artifact in the grave, that tickles the ears and say why not, it changes the neutrality Roland. Not surprisingly, the Triton will be pampered by the Hip-Hop.
The sheets are nice and easy usable, bass synths are great with this serious development. on the other hand I'm not a fan of sounds "fireworks" is fun at first but good after what we did?
The acoustic pianos are very bad, the electric pianos are ok, unfortunately the quality of the keyboard serves these sounds there.
The organ is just OK, let's say that next to a CX-3 they do not make the weight recess.
Other sounds are not bad but nothing too surprising.
I repeat again, the quality of the keyboard does a disservice to the expressivity of the Triton.
OVERALL OPINION
I have the Triton for 3 weeks. I exchanged against a Virus KC because he served me as a master keyboard, it was heavy and I wanted to change but I lost much in the quality of the touch keyboard.
As soon as I can, I offer a Clavia Nord Stage Compact.

UTILIZATION
For a regular KORG, use is intuitive and the handling is done in minutes. For others, it is very simple, and some days all you need to understand the basic principles of handling the machine.
SOUNDS
This machine is designed for electronic music, let it be said ... Try out a piano that captures, you will spend three days to finally give up! The guitars are also poorly made, and the strings are usually not very interesting. On the other hand, organs are excellent, as well as powerful leads, the deep ground, shattering synths, etc ... Percussion kits are quite interesting, but somewhat repetitive. Overall, it is better to avoid this keyboard if your thing to you, it's acoustic music. on the other hand, electro side is quite impressive.
Note the presence of a well-designed two-track arpeggiator, carrying a big hundred factory grounds. As for the sequencer, it offers a way "loop", which allows to turn to the controls in real time: 4 pots are available on the left of the screen, and this is where we begin to s' some fun on a live set ... Cutoff and Resonance of course, but also modules assigned to your liking. Some regret the lack of tape, but this assignment custom modulation in real time the complete lack in my opinion.
In fact, one can very well use this machine for quite other than his "normal" use. It depends on your imagination ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for more than three years, and as a student, I could have hoped for my budget. In addition, a synth as compact (and solid) that it is perfect for small trips between zicos. The value for money is excellent, especially since you can add a card or other sampler. Note also the backup to SD card, which currently sells for 6 euros for 1GB Surcouf ... Moreover, it is a little more than using the card format: just the once to buy a small module card reader for your PC (unless it embarks card reader X in 1), download the latest firmware updates and new sounds, and it is left for a new discovery!See less20 - zicopilote

The construction is correct (although sturdy aluminum chassis), but both ends are plastic sea * ic. Very small keys, it is very cheap (it is a light version of the Triton anyway)
just insert an effect, as against 8 for the Triton I think, too bad.
UTILIZATION
The general configuration is simple? Editing sounds and effects is easy? The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
nah, it's a synth, it's not simple, should examine the 200 pages.
the manual is indigestible, but it's nothing compared to newer models (thousands of pages for the Oasys apparently)
The edition .... I just change a few presets and squirm a little knobs.
SOUNDS

yes, quite rock for me, so it should be (lots of groups have used)
expression is correct, apart from touching the keyboard really cheap (I got a Juno D was better)
The effects are effective (that is the highlight of Korg) but a pity that this version does not allow to accumulate more than two.
sounds: great for organs, violins, groundwater and atmosphere.
Piano really missed (that of Roland is downright better), but hey, I change it slightly by adding the resonance and reverb.
Otherwise, I'm still satisfied with sounds (that's why I sold the Juno D but I am sorry for the sound of piano)
OVERALL OPINION
For how long have you been using it? What thing do you like most/least about it? Did you try many other models before getting this one? What is your opinion about the value for the price? Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
used for over a year, I like the ergonomics of Triton, sounds to me more suitable than the Juno D (too clean, not enough Rock n 'Roll for my taste), the screen is bigger too .
The ratio Q / P? I almost buy it when I began harmony, I pulled over Roland half the price (500 against 1100) and sounds very realistic for the latter.
I had the Triton qques years later in exchange for a guitar, so ok.
I like it anyway, but it is now surpassed by the M-series and others.
If I had to buy a Triton series, I would lean on the Triton Extreme with his lamp in preamp and keyboard better on memory and SD card.See less10 - Simon Buehler

I don't really like the snares I don't know why, I think cause it feels weird without pads I think the fantom set up would be nice pads. Also korg for sure lets you know what you paid for with some off the sounds

I love it for being my first triton I learn so much off it. I went to the studio and got on there studo triton and almost knew more then the engineer but he really didn't use it that much. I've made over 100 beats with this.
