On paper it's tempting, especially with a sampling card. In truth, it sucks. The keyboard is rotten (too light), the overall look very average (all plastic) the number of knobs ridiculous (live menus poorly done ...), taking the sequencer and sampler head very very average. Argh! The worst of the worst. Sounds are fully oriented dance and piano are ridiculous, like all real instruments elsewhere. It is quite complicated for a beginner to understand how it works especially for the effects which it is a little mess ... almost too incomprehensible parameters. The sounds are pretty good but it depends on the use we want to do ... The pianos are good, the organs are not too mals but it lacks a good old sound of the Hammond organ. There are many Deson that sound rather techno, dance ... a little crappy. The brass are not great they clearly lack of realism!

OVERALL OPINION

For starters, it is gray mtal is cool, a change from black plastic.

Frankly, for the price, it's a great choice.

CAUTION:
When you buy your Korg Triton, take right away with a SmartMedia card
as a termination of the synth squenceur memory retains nothing!

Then there are optional EXB-SMPL the map for the function sampler

The Triton is primarily a compact keyboard and light to meet the buskers and less fortunate.

To provide an attractive price, Korg has made compromises and that starting with the manufacturing quality of the keyboard that is more like that of a toy than a full keyboard. It's been very "plastic" (the chassis is metal I can assure you).

Inside, however, there is a basic Triton with a bank's certe a little outdated but still very correct.
The sequencer is still there, it's interesting to have it at hand.
The sampling is optional and that's good because it's a bit pointless now unless it's just to load samples for the stage.

UTILIZATION

I was not too triturated in, so I will refrain from commenting on its internal use. It looks to me still quite "simple" (in Japanese simply mean complicated). I like the screen is too small compared to that used to be Yamaha.

The touch keyboard is frankly not great, it's hard to bring the expressiveness with.

SOUNDS

The sounds are not very exciting but still correct. There is a kind of artifact in the grave, that tickles the ears and say why not, it changes the neutrality Roland. Not surprisingly, the Triton will be pampered by the Hip-Hop.

The sheets are nice and easy usable, bass synths are great with this serious development. on the other hand I'm not a fan of sounds "fireworks" is fun at first but good after what we did?
The acoustic pianos are very bad, the electric pianos are ok, unfortunately the quality of the keyboard serves these sounds there.

The organ is just OK, let's say that next to a CX-3 they do not make the weight recess.

I have the Triton for 3 weeks. I exchanged against a Virus KC because he served me as a master keyboard, it was heavy and I wanted to change but I lost much in the quality of the touch keyboard.

I use it for more than three years, and as a student, I could have hoped for my budget. In addition, a synth as compact (and solid) that it is perfect for small trips between zicos. With regard to acoustic pianos, often maligned, I find model C01 not so bad. As J have already bcp machine I am delighted with this newt but SOMEBODY considering a first purchase, I recommend to clearly define its objectives. Yamaha motif declinations have better piano sound except for the case of mm6, which has rotted all converters. after, it is more expensive than a newt on. To see a Juno D, Roland is not too bad for the pianos and with good opportunities are WALKING ... but you will not No way combi or sequencer ....

I used the past week, but had already tasted the triton using the micro x. .. expression is correct, apart from touching the keyboard really cheap (I got a Juno D was better)
The effects are effective (that is the highlight of Korg) but a pity that this version does not allow to accumulate more than two.
sounds: great for organs, violins, groundwater and atmosphere.
Piano really missed (that of Roland is downright better), but hey, I change it slightly by adding the resonance and reverb.
Otherwise, I'm still satisfied with sounds (that's why I sold the Juno D but I am sorry for the sound of piano)

used for over a year, I like the ergonomics of Triton, sounds to me more suitable than the Juno D (too clean, not enough Rock n 'Roll for my taste), the screen is bigger too .
The ratio Q / P? I almost buy it when I began harmony, I pulled over Roland half the price (500 against 1100) and sounds very realistic for the latter.
I had the Triton qques years later in exchange for a guitar, so ok.
I like it anyway, but it is now surpassed by the M-series and others.
If I had to buy a Triton series, I would lean on the Triton Extreme with his lamp in preamp and keyboard better on memory and SD card.

Korg Triton Le 61 is a synth with up to 5 octaves. It has 768 programs and 384 combinations, 33 drum kits. Note that it is compatible MIDI GM and GS.
For almost all of the sounds, the effect can be applied:
- LPF (low pass frequency) cut-off
- Resonance HPF (high pass frequency)
- EG-intensity
-EG-Release

And 4 other effects (reverb, delay, flanger ...) with a predetermined sound.

For each sound, the synth arpeggiator offers a solution. The latter is controlled via:
- Arp-Gate
- Arp-Velocity
- Tempo

I wanted originally a Korg PA50 Arranger keyboard but when I tried it I found the pace too mechanical music box style (like the Roland GW-8). The Triton arpeggiator sounds much more productive with crtl sounds in real time, RPPR ... on the other hand, it would have been nice to add in arpeggiator can make simple fills. As far as features ther should be more pre programmed beats. I don't really like the snares I don't know why, I think cause it feels weird without pads I think the fantom set up would be nice pads. Also korg for sure lets you know what you paid for with some off the sounds

The strings are awesome for how much this is. There are a lot of good sounds some you have to tweak to make em sound better. I've made awesome stuff with this.

OVERALL OPINION

I love it for being my first triton I learn so much off it. I went to the studio and got on there studo triton and almost knew more then the engineer but he really didn't use it that much. I've made over 100 beats with this.
