« Ibanez GSR 200 »
Published on 12/02/01 at 15:00I bought this at a Guitar Center in Houston Texas for $190
I just got into bass guitar and played around with the other starter basses and didn't like the feel. When I picked up the gsr 200, I instantly fell in love. Its light, packs good tone(on an expensive and cheap amp) and sounds good when slapped.
It buzzes a little, and could be better for jazz. I think its meant to play stuff like slap and funk.
Although the wood is faded a little, it still has a solid feel and is well built.
super. First class starter.
