See further notice, I want to give my opinion on the quality of these microphones

OVERALL OPINION

I'll go a bit against al everyone here.
I just tested a SC1100 (which was happy until the day) against an old Senneheiser MD409U3 (300 euros on ebay germany second hand of course). The 409 is rather known as a great mic to a best-selling firm marshall or fender. I've tested with the good folk, through a preamp SCA N72 (excellent by the way) and I did the same with a SC1100. Well I sell my T Bone as soon as possible.
The tboe is correct because it is inexpensive, but even in the small qd quality audio.
I was testing a few weeks my new SCA preamps (one killing I repeat http://www.seventhcirclestudios.com/SCA/SCA.htm).
With Tbone, I found little improvement between the sound received with the preamps of my firesolo MAUDIO and those of SCA. I thought is weird c ... And then I thought, c is the "mediocrity" of the microphone that is prevented from hearing the difference. And bingo! With a real good the difference between the microphone preamps is obvious.
Conclusion to my experimentations: Tbone is ok if you are new to the audio but after a time of need to move on.
In passing the preamps of the Fireface 800 are very average, good for ADDA convertissuers contre.Mais I'm out on the ...
I put a 5 for value for money. If you put across is more than 9 scale value.
