OVERALL OPINION

Is the first instrument / controller type mpc I buy and I had no trouble adjusting. I discover a new way of composing and the ergonomics of my stuff is so we can focus immediately on the game
It plays music and we play with music is addictive and we want to come back because we know that 5 minutes you can put an idea you have in your head.
The pads seem to me very good, the touch sensitivity is more adjustable.
The app is well thought out and there is also a pleasure to refine his work.
The only fault I could do for the knobs that I can not find super precise selection. But perhaps just as the pads can adjust it, I'll have a look.

Working on the last MacBook Pro (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 1067 MHz DDR3 Duo/4Go) and is a real pleasure!
I had a Dell PC with a configuration before it can be a small but sufficient, and there were quite a bug but since I'm on mac ... it's great!

OVERALL OPINION

1 year.

I worked a forward with a Roland MV 8800 which is in my opinion one of the best production machine, and I do not regret my exchange: - 1) I got into the sub-selling Re (1300 € ...)
- 2) My production that are faster and easier even if it is not the same style groovebox!)

What I like least ... English obligatory for Native Instruments contacted in case of problems, information on its equipment or for a simple SHIFT! it's heavy at a time ...

Value for money: Perhaps the best right now.

With experience I will ever be the same choice even faster.

I use it for two weeks I also motu bpm for 8 months
the two are very good although not the same sound. Maschine allows you to song mode to make arrangements "on the fly" so fast and intuitive enough for the moment the weak point for me is the impossibility of make layers (layers) on my drums
but I think that NI will put matters right through the updates to come

in short, I am very happy with my purchase
excellent value for money although some sounds are not enough fat from my point of view this choice I would do without a shadow of a doubt

I've been owning it for two days. It's the tool I had been waiting for a long time. I started writing music with machines and then switched to a PC so this hardware/software bundle wonderfully combines both worlds. It combines the ease of hardware programming (without sub-menus like on a RM1X or a MPC) with the convenience of an HDD packed with a huge sample bank.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

- The hardware is conceived so you don't have to search in endless menus and sub-menus.

High-quality controller (sturdy and accurate encoders, pads on the same quality as a MPC), light and compact. This controller allows you to forget about the mouse but it can be convenient to use both.

- The software is quite good, it provides enough sound banks, effects and sampling functions (although editing possibilities aren't as good as with Battery, Absynth, and other virtual drum machines and synths with a huge number of parameters).

OVERALL OPINION

As a summary, this bundle offers the same possibilities as a system combining an RM1X, an MPC and a PC.

I work with a 2.1 GHz Macbook with 2 GB Ram and Mac OS 10.5.6. I didn't have any problems installing the software (it took 30 minutes, registration included) and the latency I get is between 7 and 8 seconds (with shorter latency times you can hear some noise).

I'm fully satisfied with this hardware/software bundle and I think it's a good solution (once again, it's my personal opinion and other people will prefer other controllers and software tools). You'll need other synths if you want more possibilities.

PS: I give it an 8 because nothing is perfect and the grade depends on the user's expectations.
