- The handle is fine and clean gibson: round. it gets off on it or hate it, that's in gibson / epiphone. I found it enjoyable. it is fast and comfortable. access to acute is excellent, it's just an SG there instead.

- Its shape is reminiscent of the devil with two horns, I loved it. SG: copied but never equaled. it is not heavy at all (about 3 pounds), but a little unbalanced, it goes forward a little when playing standing. but rest assured it is done quickly

Perfect for me although I think to buy a Epiphone Les Paul Standard. I play mainly punk and metalhardcore (but I've seen people playing pop and jazz on it without problem).

I plugged into a Peavey amp 80 watts through a small Ultra Distortion pedal and I have two choices, either get her a pig who pukes dark and heavy riffs and solos that burst in the Beastie Boys (micro neck ) is a well cold would grind to a happy drunk and punk that leaves a little feedback if you set the tone above 8 (micro bridge).

I have for almost a year, this is my first guitar.
I especially like their comfort, we have it jumps around so you feel comfortable! on the other hand I suppose it would change the pickups to navigate in the sound.

Frankly if you do not have much money you buy this one rather than under communist shit reeks of shoddy work ... this one sounds really pretty and has a really low price for a guitar!

This is a very good guitar for beginners and start playing in groups and when I hear it is rather moving towards a Squier start strato when I find it silly PAREC someone who loves and Sg Les Paul has always had a little trouble playing on strato: it's too different and it seems to go to the enemy too! ^ ^

UTILIZATION

I would make a fairly quick test, because guitar is not really (I'm bass player), I would not want to induce some error.
This is the second guitar I buy, the first was an opportunity and Floyd had become difficult to manage over time (and I have not floyd).
The handle is very nice, I do not do solos, so I do not need special access to acute, but they are relatively accessible.
In terms of weight, I find it slightly lighter than my old guitar in any case (immitation Start), the guitar is in good shape, ideal for playing seated. Against by careful setting of the strap, it is not fixed in parallel with the handle, but perpendicular. I do a lot of rock (Eiffel pixies to name a few), and I use it to dial.
Used with a preamp Behringer MIC200 TUBE ULTRAGAIN and connected to a PC via an EMU 0404 with Cubase Guitar Rig 2. The simple pleasures ... it is only my opinion!
I use the adjustable micro "treble" for the rhythm and the setting "Rhythm" for "solos" or the sound clear.
Regarding the two knobs, this is volume 2 buttons, wired in series.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 days. I have played more than 10 hours on it since I have.
I love the lock, that's what SG, the varnish is slightly transparent, which reveals the wood underneath and that is the most beautiful effect. (Not as pronounced as the photo of the product though!)
Before I really hesitate to buy it, at first I wanted a Gibson Les Paul Standard, but considering the price ... and the weight of the Gibson ... can be for a future purchase.
For now and after 2 days of use, even intensive, it is a little hard to know what this guitar can give time. I would take advantage at worst to make a new comment.

Micro-bridge: It sounds good for trs crunch and saturated sounds, both for rhythm and for solos and benefitted from a good power. The rock sound is trs, trs medium but can be done all with the metal.
Micro-round: It is used for clean sounds. The sound is round, soft trs. This is the one that will be used to shred and sweeping ... on the other hand, not for its rhythmic saturated. The sound will be rough, too serious and too powerful. Too bad.
Micro-neck + bridge: The combination of both gives a nice sound for bluesy improvisation in its crunch. In the sound is pretty clean lens, trs beautiful. I use it when I have to play a song originally on a strat jou (even when it is not the same thing, but ...-_-").

For the price it's worth, this guitar is really good. It sounds as good (see more) that most of the guitars that are sold to people who know nothing in music stores for much cheaper! This is THE guitar for those beginners who want to play rock, hard rock, despite the weaknesses of lgres neck pickup and the knobs!

The Epiphone SG Special is standard SG that is aimed at those who are interested in getting an SG, but can't necessarily afford the Gibson version of this classic guitar. The guitar has tone and volume knobs and a three way pick up selector for toggling between the pick ups or blending the two of them together. I'm not too sure on what type of wood this guitar is made out of...

UTILIZATION

The Epiphone SG Special isn't a difficult guitar to play at all, as it's actually got a pretty nice feeling neck. I don't own this guitar as I've only played it a handful of times, but my initial impression of it was that it's definitely got an adequate feel. I used to own a Gibson SG, so I think that this hold some weight in that even after playing a Gibson for years that this version of the guitar was still easy to play. It's not as easy to get a nice sound from this as it is a Gibson SG, but it's still a very good sounding guitar overall.

I don't think that you'd mistake the sound of the Epiphone SG Special for anything other than that of an SG, as the SG series definitely has it's own sound to it, which is one that is thick and round and perfect for rock n roll. Like all SGs, the Epiphone SG Special is definitely best suited for playing rock where you're using some distortion. It's great for both lead and rhythm parts, but generally speaking I like this SG best for getting super chunky sounding rhythm parts.

OVERALL OPINION

If you want an SG but can't afford or justify spending the money on getting the Gibson version, the Epiphone SG Special is definitely an adequate replacement. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for professionals, but for beginners and intermediate players it will definitely get the job done. The price is extremely reasonable since it's an Epiphone. So while certainly not as nice as a Gibson SG, the Epiphone SG Special is just fine for those on a tighter budget...
