Value For Money :
Poor
Transistor amplifier 100w rms indicated.
Headphone output, CD input, footswitch and effects loop.
Possibility of adding a baffle 4 * 12 for example.
Settings: 2 channels, bright / crunch and overdrive / crunch.
4-band EQ.
3 + 2 effects combined.
10/10
UTILIZATION
Simple configuration, it depends on what you mean not configuration, should not be dork to move the knobs. On this side of nothing more simple.
on the other hand to find the desired, adjustments must be made very thin, one can obtain a wealth of character has his marshall with this amp.
The manual was not in the lot (amp demo bought cheaper).
8 / 10 because it can be nice sound by testing combinations but it can take time.
SOUNDS
I play hard, punk, rock, blues: the receiver is adapted to 100%
I have a small behringer microwave double, and I've already played dessu with ESP (for a more accurate and more powerful but that does not justify the price difference between these two guitars).
The clean channel is great especially if you push the gain in depth, it appears a little crunch really famous! As soon as one starts the crunch against it is essential for lowering the gain, the difference in sound output is still quite obvious, but does the crunch is really nice especially with the gain at 2 or 3.
The overdrive channel is suitable for a transistor amp, and with the setting of the contour we can find a variety of sounds really nice, for the transistor. If one engages the overdrive 2, also a fairly large difference of sound is felt, must be lowered if the master can make a jump ... this channel is nice but gets too rough when you push the gain too.
Note that one can also start the crunch channel light playing on the same channel overdrive, the result is a crackling dust that makes its effect! A test!
For the transistor, and for what I play, I put 9 because nothing is perfect.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 6 months without problems.
I love its sound, which are still well-typed marshall contrary to what I read on the net .. With this amp you have a marshall's not as hot and powerful than any lamp, but still quite colorful.
I tested a Vox Valvetronix 30w, 30w a roland cube, a 100w fm12r fender, a marshall avt 100w, a 100w peavey bandit 112 ...
All these are nice amp, but to play with my band and see my budget, I chose the marshall mg (€ 250) because it is one that is closest to my style with the avt, avt but was far too expensive.
I'm not saying buy this amp is already good to have a guitar, even a sound, so I'm just saying it to try.
In the family of transistors, mg of place in the top of the bill, powerful, typed marshall, no maintenance of lamps> economical. 10/10
