The violin is flawless, show a drastic quality control.
The woods used are exceptional and the height of the model.
Ash body selected first class with at least 15 years of drying.
The body was recognized by all that comfortable with that little extra: the heel of the handle is contoured for more comfortable access to acute. The polyurethane varnish is very nice and beautiful gradation.

Maple neck with a piece of a modern C-profile and has 22 jumbo frets perfectly polished and machined very well (considering the price is at least ...).

Vibrato two anchors.
Stainless steel saddles.
Mechanical blockage.
US Fender single coil pickups SCN (Samarium Cobalt Noiseless)
5-way switch
2 Tone
1 volume swith + S1 (5 combinations of additional micro).
Straplocks (to have a strap securely fastened safely she wins)

All delivered in a case cast (with a small compartment in the handle for storing tools, strings, picks, strap, sandwich, telephone, etc ...)

I put 10 in spite of the compartment of the case, which I think is a bit too small.

UTILIZATION

- The handle is it fun?
The neck is awesome! Absolute comfort! A satin-smooth and without constraints on the go. It is immediately comfortable on it.

- Access to acute (recent freight) is it easy?
With the heel of the neck profile, access to acute is transparent. From first to last fret the grip is perfect.

- Ergonomics is it good (in terms of shape, weight ...)?
The ergonomics of the body of strata is the best for me, so no surprise on this point as a bonus with the heel section, which provides most notable solo.
With a very dense wood, the beast weighs weight. This is an advantage to sustain. As against the back weak or tired prefer to play seated.

- Gets it easy to sound good?
Taking only hand the handle is very comfortable (neither too thin nor too fat), the radius being standard and having jumbo frets, the sound is good to go from the first shot picks. It quickly becomes a delight to sing the microphones that requires only that!

I put 10 because it exactly meets my expectations.

SOUNDS

- They are suitable to your style of music?
I have no real style of music.
I like to play that pleases my ears according to my mood.
I do not have the budget to change depending on the guitar style of song I want to make the best choice was the Start.
Known for its versatility and ease of playing, she is at ease in many style.
With the switch S-1 (for combining the three single coils in parallel or in series), versatility is increased. I still want to point out that to put three pickups in series will not replace a humbucker, but the sound and approach it with me. But this switch gives very good results.

- With what (s) amplifier (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I play primarily on a Line 6 Toneport (equivalent PC Pod xt) returned on speakers 2x12 "or monitors, but also a Marshall VS30R. I was also able to try it on a Fender HotRod, a Blues Junior and a Peavey Classic 30.

I like the Toneport for its diversity (and Noiseless pickups make good service in an environment full of parasites: Parasites no result and grain Fender is here!)
And convenient to store and play with headphones.

on the other hand, my fair gives its full potential on a HotRod (it's magic, but my neighbors will not support), so perhaps I will opt for the Blues Junior is more reasonable power and sounds great.

- What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "bold ",....)?
Lens at will. The switch S-1 adds roundness.

- What are the sounds you prefer, you hate?
I crack in the bridge position and center intermediate position with and without bridge + switch S1. This slamming his typical stratum. With the switch, we get a slight crunch takes its natural value with good effects (reverb tite light or a short analog delay, a distortion such as "Rat" without too much gain).

I put 9 because I expected a little more of the switch S-1.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
I use it for one month, after playing a Mexican Standard Stratocaster for 5 years.

- What is so special that you like most and least?
Likes:
- Start the sound found on a lot of music
- Ease of play
- Versatility, but his identity
- The perfect finish
- Color (this beautiful gradation from red to yellow varnish while transparency) Pearloid pickguard and back plate, and vintage white button and micro
- The marriage of legend and modernity

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
- Clapton Signature: typed too
- American Standard 60th anniversary: good sound, but no mechanical lock, no noiseless, no precise vibrato, no stub shaft profile, less careful finish compared to the deluxe
- American Vintage Reissue Stratocaster 62: His vintage, but also the disadvantages of the vintage: microphones parasitized, mechanical and bridges subject to an ongoing and misadjustment nitrocellulose varnish of beauty, but requires proper care, and, if the guitar poorly watched in fact a vintage ugly.

- How would you rate the quality / price?
Some say it is expensive.
It costs money, but I find that the investment is worth it. The fittings, wood, finish, the attention on finishing the race, electronics assembly and amply justify the price. I prefer to € 1800 in this guitar rather than a € 1800 vintage. I think she will go ages without showing any signs of old age.

- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
An American Fender Start with no compromise!
The deluxe version is the link between the legend and modern stratocaster is expected of a guitar today. I do it again this choice in a heartbeat.
