OVERALL OPINION

I bought a month ago to put a fender standard micro pikguard 016,730 in 2004 ..
Before changing the picguard, I listened to the sound of the original microphone with my 100w marshall amp settings without moving it.
The dead in his flat immediately understood that it was worth the money. (Fender?, I doubt it). But nothing to do I think, I remove the original picguard.
I put the two next to each other the difference in quality of an eye and the other is not like I have a picture of two pikguard, even a novice is able to see squyer which is the visual quality of the assembly.

UTILIZATION

Purchased in 2001. 1st reading my guitar: I was wondering if I made a bargain with a low-end guitar that may need to be changed slightly APRS (but has less apprhension beginners with a 1000 that dare not go out of its cover: -)) APRS 6 years I still play with.
For beginners, rpter, carry, just take the fun is OK if you play your pltot technique, picky, if you think it's the quality of an instrument that done almost everything go your way. Considering the price and the fact that we can change the pickups as needed, ideal for beginners see 2nd guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar is the business of my short life as a guitarist. I bought it two months ago on a flea market: a guy who would not know it too sold it to me € 50 dust well with the strings and keys oxidized ultra dirty wish!
It took me half a day to restore it but what a pleasure.
Then the price / quality ratio, I think I have achieved.
Now buy it new, I do not think: it can be much better for the same price.
Mechanics too loose, the handle screw and microphones a little weak people are the big weaknesses.
The comfort of the handle is big strong point.

This is a guitar for beginners (for beginners pigeon finally ... it's not their fault APRS all.)

Actually I have not tried others I wanted a Start to change my other guitars and Ibanez JS Sabre I bought the favorite.

UTILIZATION

Ergonomics is the highlight of this guitar. It is lgre strato and shape gives a good acute and Access in a good grip, whether you are standing or sitting.
The handle is really effective, one of the best in this price range, really enjoyable to play. The frets are plutt grazed, the guitar is generally easy to play, ideal for beginners.

SOUNDS

Unplugged the guitar sounds pretty good, but once branch ca ne va plus ... Blowing, dsagrables sounds, moving from one extreme to another, the knobs do not allow many opportunities INTERESTED. I first plugged into the amp comes with Fender (in pack), a Frontman 15R. On the clean channel and position bridge / middle and middle / neck, however, had a cool sound, typical Fender. I use it for almost 2 years. Ergonomics makes it very easy to use and it easily takes the pleasure to use. But his sound is pluttdgeu and I use this guitar more often than unplug an amp.

I use it for about a year. I think a few times may be changing mcaniques? mics? carrment or buy a different style but strato srieuse because these operations are more expensive than the same guitar her ... is it worth the time? Finally I changed the mcaniques for Spertzel amliorer lock to hold the tuning in the crowd I used to change one of the Tone knobs that made to me. The Squier Affinity series Strat is designed by Fender and made overseas in China. It features an alder body, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, a CBS style large headstock, sealed tuners, a fulcrum point tremolo bridge, and a pickguard loaded with 3 ceramic single coils and a control layout of a volume control, two tone controls and a 5 way pickup selector switch. It comes in many different colours and is available with a maple or rosewood fretboard. They are often paired with a package that includes other beginner friendly items such as a bag, tuner, cable, picks, and a small practice amp.

UTILIZATION

This guitar really isn't anything to write home about. I've tried a few of them and they seem to vary from average to just downright awful. They're much heavier than I'd think they should be (probably due to using cheap alder for the bodies) and the necks are usually poorly finished with sharp fret ends. They're not all bad, but compared to the newer 2008 and up Bullets that I'm seeing, the Affinity Strat is laughably worse in quality.

Getting a decent sound out of this guitar is not really something that is particularly difficult, but you'd have to be playing through a decent amplifier. The stock Fender practice amps they include really are not great and don't bring out the most stellar tone

SOUNDS

I've tried this guitar through the stock Fender practice amps as well as some nicer tube rigs. Unlike the Bullet, which I found to be great sounding and very Stratty, the Affinity just sounds like a bland and generally unappealing guitar. There isn't much variation in the tone of the pickups. It basically goes from very bassy to extremely bright and trebley with not much in between. The volume and tone controls really don't do much and act more like on/off switches than actual pots... something that is a pet peeve of mine. The clean tones are pretty much just a flat and standard sound... really nothing special. The drive tones are pretty uninspiring as well, though occasionally I can hear a HINT of that wonderful Strat tone lurking within... but unlike the new Bullets, these Affinities just don't do the Strat thing. Oh well.

OVERALL OPINION

All in all I don't really recommend this guitar due to how inconsistent they can be. The older ones I've seen seem to have really bad fretwork and finishing, with poor setups and even worse pickups. The newer models are improving... slowly, but it's still not really quite there. For the $180 or so that these sell for new, I would definitely look elsewhere. Maybe get yourself a Squier Bullet Tremolo for $100 or a Yamaha Pacifica 012 or 112... both are superior to this one.

I have 2 Squier, a left-handed (yes I am left-handed) and handed to the way Jimi Hendrix.
They have all been made in China 2 of the Aule sorted. Rosewood handle, very nice wood sunburst models (most common in left-handed). Head Start so 70's and profile C.
Super scratch beginner with 21 frets, we'll have enjoyed a good 22nd but it is already a super skyscraper for the price (on thomann that borders the 150 euros, a misery.)

3 micros simple stratum is jolly well made, exactly the same size as her big sister with only a smaller thickness to facilitate the timber and lower manufacturing costs.

The electronics are solid, it's been eight years since she turned back into a guitar, never had a glitch with, nickel, the pots are well except maybe that of reaction volume a little bit late, but serve to give her a dirty because its a little worse.

The hardware is more fragile, after about fifteen years I think the mechanics will change but has no major long-term investment.

Very versatile (strat what) you get to do everything with! Maybe a little "just" for the heavy metal (and still for some pedals will be worry-free ca). It's like jazz rock and blues without any difficulté.Le 5-way switch is there to serve the beginner quickly tell if it is limited but explores the settings with a short time he has it vera much more in the belly than we imagine, personal opinion after 8 years of scratching.

I prefer playing the scratch sounds saturated broullon well, but no problem for clean sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

What I like least and the bridge, it seems a little fragile when using vibrato, attention.

This is consistent with the TARS except the sound (in quality and the handle ... it's a beam! It is far from the comforts.

This guitar comes with a standard Fender Stratocaster pickup setup with three individual single coil pickups. This one comes in a black paint finish that looks as cheap and it sounds.

This guitar feels and sounds like someone with no background on building guitars put this together blind folded. The build quality is as cheap as humanly possible. I actually think the pickups are probably worth more than the wood of the guitar itself.

This guitar came in the combo pact that came with an equally unimpressive Fender guitar amp. Both together will bring out the howling dogs. I think that amp sounds best in the off position. The guitar sounds best unplugged and sitting in the closet of little Johnny's room.

This guitar would be better put to use as fire wood then actually playing. The pickups are very weak and brittle sounding. The combination of this guitar with the Fender amp that you get in the pack is just ear piecing bad. I completely understand that this is a starter pack for the uninformed, but for any experienced player putting their hands on this guitar will leave them scratching their head wondering who would want to continue to learn the guitar if they were giving this thing.

Again I'll say this guitar is fine for someone exploring whether or not they want to play the electric guitar. In that case this is a fine guitar to try out. However, you may never want to play guitar again after playing this thing.

OVERALL OPINION

At new this guitar comes in at around $200, which included the amp and guitar strap, gig bag, pick selection, and tuner. It is a starter kit and I understand that but the only people that would go for this is the beginner.

I would not recommend this to any guitar player needing a back up guitar or even a practice guitar. You won't find this guitar appealing in any way. I would recommend this pack to someone who wants to get their kid started with the electric guitar. It is cheap and inexpensive and won't break the bank discovering if your kid has the desire to continue to further their musical talents.

Fender's Squier Stratocaster is a student level guitar that is designed to be a very cheap alternative to the Fender Stratocaster. It's got the same look and all, with many of the same features, but of course not made with the same quality parts. The Fender Squier Stratocaster that I have was made in Indonesia, and has three single coil pick ups. It's got a five way pick up selector, as well as an overall volume knob and two tone knobs for two of the pick ups. It's also got a whammy bar on it.

UTILIZATION

Playing the Fender Squier Stratocaster deifnitely isn't the most pleasant instrument to play, but I wouldn't say that it's unplayable at all. It certainly doesn't feel like a real Stratocaster, but if you're just getting started it will more times than not be adequate. In terms of using the pick ups, it's a pretty straight forward set up so I don't think that users will have any issues there. Getting a nice sound is a relative thing here...

SOUNDS

The Fender Squier Stratocaster has on okay sound, but certainly isn't anything to write home about. Being that this is an absolute beginners guitar, you really can't complain too much about the sound, as you should know what you're getting into with a Squier. It's a shadow of the sound that a real Japanese, American, or Mexican Stratocaster is, but I guess it really isn't fair to compare the two. The tone won't matter too much if you're just get started, as it sounds good enough where you can hear what you're doing.

OVERALL OPINION

While I definitely wouldn't recommend the Fender Squier Stratocaster to anyone other than a beginner, for a beginner's guitar it does the trick. I wouldn't say that you're getting the most bang for your buck with a starter's guitar here, as you'll definitely be paying a bit for the name. I haven't used this guitar seriously in a long time, as it was my first guitar and I didn't end up using it for all that long. I would definitely look into some other guitars if you're looking to get your first one, but the Fender Squire Strat isn't an outlandish choice for new players.
