SOUNDS

This is where the bottom hurts! "Y'avait yet all in for it to work well!" But ...
I played 10 years on this amplifier. I play mostly rock with a Fender Stratocaster 87 Custom (2 Seymour Duncan single and a double bridge DiMarsio, Epiphone Les Paul Custom a (2 Seymour Duncan) and a Fender telecaster Johnny Hallyday (3 micros simple texas blues). I never managed to get sound interressants. The sounds have always been very poor (I tried several installations of both tubes in preamp gain). the sound is dry, without harmonics and égualisation innéfficace. The only interest lies in power output that can deafen the neighborhood, but that's all.

OVERALL OPINION

I recently sold this amp after a few technical setbacks. I have indeed made the Retube amp that was quick to "smoking" some time later. balance sheet, an output transformer and a grilled retubing of the power stage. I sold it without much regret since I bought some time before a Fender Hot Rod gives me feelings clearly superior.
I am particularly disappointed with the sound of the JCM 900 that I had the opportunity to play with an old JCM 800 it has really SOUND Marschall. I also recently tried a Blues Braker makes me shudder even to think about nothing but happiness.
