UTILIZATION

Despite the amount of adjustment is fairly easy to find the right sound
The manual is bogus on the other hand it does not give much ...

SOUNDS

The clean is clearly not his strong point but he is doing very well obviously if you play funk or something ultra clean it will be difficult but it is possible

To drive it is just perfect it is a little kind marshall and shoot super high gain
There's grain on this amp and personality
The 1 & 2 channels (corresponding to the drive) are identical, but given the amount of different nasturtium is not a pb

For a light crunch is not ideal we feel that the amp is operating even high volume

OVERALL OPINION

I have this jewel pdt about a year I will not have the resale. This is the ball and the power is perfect scotch
It has lots of connectors on the other hand can do anything new I find it a bit expensive
Supplied without footswitch is unacceptable for this price

If I can get a chopper OCCAZ I go ....

So I do a detailed review of this amp made in the USA:

Tube amp (4 x12AX7 & 4xEL84)
50w power can be reduced to 22 or 7w.
Switches are put on and stand-by
3 channels: 1 clean / crunch and 2 "Hi-gain"
1 digital reverb
1 boost whose intensity is adjustable rear face of 0-10 db

A master control for the amp

For each channel:
Presence / Volume / Drive and 2-position switch for the more or less bright.
An equation with high / medium / bass and even a 2-position switch to raise the importance of EQ in the final rendering sound.

To all this is added Hp output and direct parallel with the possibility to choose the output impedance of 16 ohms or 4.8.
A line output reduced by 25db
A return effect.
We can even return to 110v
And must, the ability to change the color of the light inside the amp, blue or red.

And finally two entries for the footswitch (two inputs but no footswitch included). 1 conventional input stereo jack from which you can only change the channel. And Din input for connecting the footswitch Carvin allowing access to reverb and boost.

To this I added the bag ideal but not provided basic transportation.

Despite the lack of bag and footswitch I put 10 as the head is complete.

UTILIZATION

With all these options it is still very easy to adjust because there is no gimmick.
It is provided with a light manual booklet yet complete type and includes some examples of setting type that allow understanding. Finally, if necessary, because it is simple amp setting.

All settings at noon it sounds very good, a very good sound.

Only one small feature channel is the channel with more gain and the lightest 3. But this concerns only the numbering, because the clearer is the right front.

SOUNDS

I play it with a TV for 80 years, and a standard SG Firewild

It was on this amp a good clean channel, which allows either to have a perfect clean even at high volume but may also have the slight crunch the fat well. This feature is rarely highlighted but the clean is really great. With single or dual microphones that gives superb sound that you can sculpt the equation or adding effects.
The effects also go very well with a front connection delay, fuzz, overdrive, distortion flanger, chorus, I tested everything and all his property taken by the amplifier in the loop or live.
Then the other two channels are clearly a graoult channels and beautiful. It sounds rock, hard rock and heavy (one of 80) without worry. Later I know answer.

So I greatly pruned in my pedals because with just the amp I can get three distinct sounds besides reverb and boost. The dream anything.

OVERALL OPINION

It is one year since I played with in rehearsal and concert.
Before him I tested the Vox and fender, I love the AC30 and Blues reissue but I found nothing equivalent head and combos 30kg .... At the blackstar Artisant series was off-budget and combo. The Hiwatt custom 100 is great but worth twice and I've never been able to find or test the HT40 head that was more affordable.

I find it perfect for pop, blues, rock and hard rock and I have not found a challenger to this amp. Small, lightweight (10kg), 3 channels, versatile, powerful ..... I did not beat him.

That his charm is also able to play on at home without taking off the wallpaper. In 7w and the master is carefree. So you can work the sound at low volume and refine RPET.


I find it a bit expensive, especially since it comes naked, but hey it is not made in China if it again I would.

UTILIZATION

THE config while logic is subtle

Indeed, depending on the settings of position volume / drive / amp egaliz then can tone and EQX or not we arrive at a multitude of possibilities.

AT first I had tried quite sound bright enough, I lowered the tried and it does bcp better.

THE six-page manual explaining even if it remains for the novice with technical sketches facades smart to have a base setting with super clean / lead cuting / modern heavy / blue breaker / classic rock rhythm / lead smoth and sketches virgin postionnements its pure note.

With hindsight I understood the terminology and subtleties of all these régalges this very smooth with very good dynamics even at very low volume master 1/1.5

The adjustment "drive" with a high value> 7 or 8 induced significant compression

The boost adjustment is also useful, and can be easily crncher amp with a helping pick a little more pronounced, indicating a certain dynamic that I did not have before with H & k statesmann that déméritait not yet !

SOUNDS

It is more oriented modern (blues / rock / hard) for the vintage "pure" is not quite here, but sounds even cleans are still quite in the spirit fenderiens very versatile.

It fully complies with the grain of the guitar, and works well with both a mesa cabinet with black shadows
It is also good in crystal clear sound with that fat strat type with the pauls.

With all the range of possibilities, it never sounds bad, it depends greatly after tastes basically.

OVERALL OPINION

For 6 months

yes, I was rather out of combos such as Hot Rod (very good clean too powerful e sf ncrunch and saturation), h & k TubeMeister & vox (very aggressive acids is not like at all), line dt 25 (rather soft and argneux in normal bogner bass but overall quite dark and quite gasworks))

I would have liked a format head a bit more imposing because of the multitude knob with mini contactors must have smaller mimine through against the small advantage for transport if necessary.

AN head ultra versatile, usable in real home and punch to the scene.

R / Q / p excellent very competitive no complaints and remake that choice without a doubt, occas it is more affordable.

UTILIZATION

Detailed settings for many parameters, and opportunities
are really wide.
Easy to have a good sound, however, because it is dynamic
A single channel is adjustable in its very clean, the other two rather crunch or saturated.

SOUNDS

For Blues, Classic Rock or Hard Rock Standard (UFO, Paging or in kind), I think it's perfect. Metal for the hyper saturated, I do not know, I think it would be good too, but I know my limits and I would not mind.
I love the sounds I got for now I have put no effect, and it is already much better than my Fender Hotroad with a pedal.
The clean sound is as good as the Fender, with more settings.

OVERALL OPINION

I just bought it, brought the United States (here I find the huge difference in price doubled!)
I bought a Mesa Boogie 2x12 cabinet with Celestions front VT30, too cool
