Installation under XP and Vista 32/64 Seven and then without any pb

using cubase since the beginning of a falcon atari then the directo disk, then the next genration of Cubase SX, I is not been affected by the interface or the new features

no conflict encountered, be careful if you modify some path of cubase VST 5 (groove agent ... I do not remember other ds) because then the library must be sent in the VST drag and drop does not work

PDF manual of 700 pages, I know cubase, do not bother to read it

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

seven 64-bit
PC config last IDE/USB3, etc, etc,
external sound card MAUDIO Fast Track Ultra 8R

Cubase works great, 2% CPU with large VSTI (QLSO / trilogy / colossus / Stylus RMX / etc etc)

no crash, no error

OVERALL OPINION

Cubase on XP for about 10 years, seven for 8 month, day and night between the two OS

For me is the ideal cubase, protools dedicated hardware is different, etc, etc, too much stress, and maintaining a good PC is well worth a MAC, it's over the gap between the two
