SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

HP ENVY 17-1090ez windows 7 home prenium, 8gb ram DDRR, the machine works perfectly.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since its release, I try almost every other sequencers with the exception of Logic Pro, and most recently as PreSonus Studio One V2. It is very convenient, almost complete, the quality of wst Excel Compare to another. very functional. Support is at the top, fast effective, updated almost every month. Compatible with any VST plugins with the exception of Waves, a REWIRE top level.
The least: Rex files are a real headache (requires the purchase of Halion 4 for many feature)
The amp emulation are deplorable (y 'which are best freeware)
requires 2 screen, otherwise we would not come out.

Easy to install in Windows 7! Does not work with XP! To know.
Install 64-bit ...

- It Get You Started in 1:4 turn, fast and super stable ...
96 Hz recording 12 tracks for now, I'm 1 / 3 of the CPU with 3 effts on each track ... Not bad!

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using but little fawn intensive ...
I tried Cubase SX (which is a super stable product) and pro tools ..;
Question I usually prfre Cubase, but I've never put a background on other software ...

- Most of Cubase 6: Easy to use, nice effects, and VST ... Monitoring of Steinberg, a rponse mail within 24 hours if there is problem ..
- The - the price (600 euros nine)
I had mine 300 euros so it's correct.

Steinberg Cubase 6 is, just completely like its predecessors, one of the biggest trials to set up, unless of course, you already understand Cubase and its ins and outs. What ends up happening is a massive polarity between people who already know everything about how to use the program, and people who have never seen Cubase before and are wondering where the option for routing audio, and setting up inputs and outputs, and how to actual get Cubase to listen to their set ups. Cubase is a mess right now when it comes to intuitiveness. It has seemed to reach a point where its main goal is not to attract new customers, but to retain them. And while I cannot attack Steinberg for that incredible marketing decision (hint; people who use other digital audio workstations are enamored by Cubase 6's features) I still cannot give Cubase a high score in this sector. I am being generous with this.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Cubase 6 runs a lot better than Cubase 5. I do not feel the need to bring my set up to attention because that is a simple fact that objectively quantifies Cubase 6's performance. Something about the update meant that Stenberg was secretly working under a bit more motivation than to include VST expression and a prettier and shinier graphical user interface. The simple fact about Cubase 6 is that once I got past all of the set up, which I already know how to do, but keep in mind, those of you who are reading this review because you need to know, still quite broken and unintuitive. I ramble. The point is, Cubase 6 runs far more stably than Cubase 5, and that is certainly something that I would not have let Steinberg get away with.

OVERALL OPINION

Cubase still suffers from that mentality that everyone who buys the program knows exactly how to use it. This may have been true back in the earlier 90's, where the people with computers had to know quite a bit about how to use them before jumping on, but for goodness sake, Steinberg, you need to figure out how to make you digital audio workstations prettier! Anyone can call me shallow, but the simple point is that long time Cubase users already know the program, and will love it no matter what because they are used to its ins and outs. Cubase 6 still has not figured out window management, and honestly, despite all of its beautifully implemented improvements that I will not bother mentioning because everyone else has, Steinberg needs to figure out workflow.

Bossant on Nuendo up Submitted, there is no big diffrence level configuration or implementation.
No incompatibility with my hardware either.
Pdf manual is good for nature but hurts the eyes.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Install on a MacBook Pro 13 "2011 (2.3 GHz core i5 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD) with a MOTU 828 mkII (Firewire)
No problem with the audio interface or the Mac.
I use 32-bit because some of the plugins do not work at all in 64 bits (including my Waves)
or they buggent to boot.
If not in 32 bits is stable trs.
For now, I used a mix of trio jazz / funk (14 tracks) with about 4 effects per track (Steinberg and Waves) + some reverbs, the Proco is only 30%.
VST3 plugins walk nickel and puff even less resource than before.
And the SSD is the high class performance levels.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for ten days.
I worked on Nuendo 1.6 (Personal), Nuendo and Pro Tools HD 4.3 (work).
I had one more touch Cubase for at least 8 years and what a joy to see that Nuendo has now caught up on a large number of functions.
Even if the two logs are not comparable because they do not have the same vocation. 6 found in many tools Cubase Nuendo v4 Submitted (see same v5), sometimes with DIFFERENT names but always the same efficiency.
I like the new features particulirement replacement battery ("Taken to-MIDI"), sub-tracks, and VariAudio (a blackjack and melodyne Intgr.
For now, I have not had time to test everything and j'e tames the news as and when the needs of the mix.

But when I compare the price of Nuendo and Cubase 5, 6 and that I take into account the use exclusively musical (and semi-pro) that I did ... There is no photo, I tell myself that I did well in 1000 and SAVE in addition I would have to invest in the expansion kit to find some features in Cubase Nuendo.

Steinberg Possdant the past ten years (Wavelab, Cubase and Nuendo), j'apprcie much the way things are things and I might stay their Fidler one time if they continue in this direction . APRS, we like it or hate it usability, tastes and colors ...
So yes I would do this choice.

When you invest $600 in a product you had better be sure it works. And if it doesn't, good luck getting support from this company. It's emails, emails, emails and "we'll get back to you immediately." Sure thing and boy can you go crazy when you discover issues concerning Steinberg's continued obsession with all sorts of copy protection mechanisms. After the money is collected, you've got no leverage. As a result of my own problems with Steinberg having been a very long time customer, I've just given up and looked at other alternatives which are surprisingly great for half the price. They just built something new from scratch instead of heaping on more slop on this app that has its share of issues which you can read about anywhere. It takes an advanced degree to figure out how to do simple things. Before accepting the fan reviews here, ask yourself how a company could get a long time user of its software this mad. I'm a regular guy like you and I've just seen what can happen and have the electronic evidence to show anyone who cares. Major thumbs down.

I've been using Cubase for over 15 years, seriously. Some things are very good but a good number are far more difficult than need be. And the latency issues at times...

OVERALL OPINION

As I said, if you're dealing with severe copy protection methods like are in this program, ask yourself if you want to blow serious money with a company not decent enough to provide reasonable support. I'll show you numerous emails, lack of answers, and you can't call them --- you have to wait for them to call you. There is a reason why so many new competitors came out in this market and after having them screw me repeatedly with their lack of desire to deal with customers and keep cash by limiting support, I have seen the light. Don't believe fluff reviews and fans.

Installation without any problem. Simple configuration for a regular ... We need to think a bit for a novice. The manual is sufficient for installation. One regret: Not yet French manual for detailed functions (probably soon)

6 Education Artist Cubase 64-bit works great with the n12. Very stable.

OVERALL OPINION

Minimal CPU load I use it for 2 days in the studio of our association. I am a regular in Cubase. This version deserves to be fairly complete with the correct pitch, virtual amps, etc. for VST. The interface seems much improved, especially for the classification. Aesthetics is more successful. I had other versions of Cubase in the past. It deserves to be affordable, versatile and fairly complete.
In short, I use 8 g in 64-bit memory and it runs well! What happiness!

I use for a few hours, or I use my mac and also on logic abbleton mac & pc. I had the SX, 4, 5 and now 6.

'm Not a fan of the color anthrcite default windows mixer, but overall I like the facelift graphical skins in general. and color, it turns ...
With sonic Halion SE offered pretty good for the overview I have just done. At 149 euros, I would doubt san.
