The Tri-AC is more of a distortion pedals: it allows to reproduce the sounds Fender / Marshall / Mesa Boogie sound clear his trs saturated through subtle SETTING THE crunch or overdrive.
The rglages aspen / medium / bass are effective trs (not linear) and can dig his wish.
The Program is impressive.
UTILIZATION
Trs easy to use, yet full of sound and rglages possible (the manual gives a lot of examples of sounds to draw!).
The Program is stupfiante: RULES turn it round each of the three sounds we want to keep, and every time we "click" twice on the switch 1, 2 or 3. Then, RPET for example, we want to change the volume or the treble of a rglages: it goes on, just one rule corresponding knob, and reclci twice: no need to retype the r tings in full each time, and in addition the LED flashes faster or slower when one or raproche s'loigne the position of the knob mmorise.
Ok, it's a bit complicated to explain, but it's a simplicity gniale!
SOUND QUALITY
It is poustouflante: branch of a transistor amplifier (Hughes & Kettner, Peavey, Fender or Marshall for myself until now), the sound is transcand.
Branch lights on a quality amp (Fender Twin, Mesa Boogie, Marshall and Vox AC30), it allows to refine rglages, out of vintage and distos burning desire to change the range of sound ( channel Fender clean sound on a mesa or a vox is a real rgal!).
Two big advantages of a good amp: or distos good can come out of low volume (and when we play When we play a little strong, distos get really big and therefore feedback from the hip (with a good volume of all m me) and have three sounds pr-rgls to change quickly and easily for his songs.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 6 months. I love the sound it gives, as its distos clear: it does not dnature amps on which the branch, and not the same if not transcander dj super quality !
The possibility of three sounds mmoriser DIFFERENT: I can not do without it (especially that made with the 4 rglages base of the amp), and it allows me to get excellent saturations even low volume: one tries not pter eardrums in RPET and home, I played on a vox with which it is difficult to play softly and tri-ac is not the solution for I do disassemble the head by the neighbors!
Only one regret: the sounds Fender, Mesa and Marshall are top, and I well liked vox sound more like the double-drive of the same brand!
The Tri-AC is made for great vintage sound on the other hand for large distos trs powerful and modern, it is better to have another pedals. So I invest in one of the Fuzz. The set complte wonder. Given the quality and solidity of the Tech 21, I think my next purchase will Wha wha the same brand (a killer!).
