- Large diaphragm condenser microphone for singing without CONTRL for high and low but seems solid trs. Can be sold with an elastic suspension. This suspension is a minimum quality and a dia. a little too just for the microphone.
According to Harvey ingnieur Gerts studio ITRstudio.com admont that the microphone's diaphragm and transformer (component is not in any condenser microphones) are trs good design and solid compartment other Chinese-made pickups like the Studio Projects C1.
OVERALL OPINION
- I possde for two months
- I compared this mic in the same conditions with sound on a lyrical voice of a male with the Rode NT3 2m, the Cad M177 and Behringer B2 Pro Studio.
The MXL V67G sounds quite natural color balanced and a little warm. It does not round the grave, the precision and the gain of Cad M177 and Behringer B2 Pro but has a patch against particulirement rich in harmonics in the treble without being aggressive, which is rare and research. It blurs and filters correctly and acute accents too strong voice better than NT3. It captures the atmosphere of the place and the same is a sound and full-ar. Overall there was generally a trs tests perform well.
It is a microphone to capture a mood or voice with. It complte a good decision on his solo singer for prsence and a pair of microphones in other strophonie moves away a little more to capture the magnitude of the voice and the accompaniment with acoustic environment in a context.
I Verify performance with some accompanying instruments like the piano with a live opera singer. Your exact is surprising. Approximately one 2m and the opera singer with piano properly is excellent. Its sensitivity is sufficient and not EXAGRES unlike many other microphones.
The report qualitprix is staggering.
