Condenser microphone
Supercardioid
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year.
Aside from its appearance Aesthetics trsrussi the Beta87A has a good rev to rjection Feedback for static, dynamic equivalent of MODELS.
This mic sounds dlivre prcis and quite equilibrated on all frquences, Fidler plutt voice or instrument, clear enough, but with a little velvet ct and the warm dmarque many of its competitors transistor and gives it a real personality even if it is less than a typical dynamic (SM58, BETA58 ....)
I possde a microphone of this type of brand T-bone, the MBBeta78, which has a lower rjection to Larsen, who has a brighter sound (depending on the acoustic conditions mtallique), which seems more transparent but in fact it has that little grain of velvety Beta87A.Mais its tariff does not intend the comparison either, even if it is excellent in its kind, and better default.
Dernirement, I also had the opportunity to compare with its competitor Shure AKG, the C535EB, super micro aussi.C him 'silent during a concert in a good concert hall (mixer MIDAS Legend3000 ...). In seeking what would be best for micro sound to a flte, the Shure had all the faveurs.Bien AKG also seemed clearer and brighter, it's that little grain made the difference.
I do not say that the Shure is better in all circumstances, but the comparison with yours AKG, and according to the source or the desired effect he may round up the day.
Every voice microphone, but the gnralement Beta87A is versatile enough (as all static for me), especially as a tool can be truly enhanced with this microphone.
In short, I put a 10 property MRIT but only by taking into account the fact that I bought in the United States less than 150 euros, including postage.
In France and in Europe Manir gnrale, like all Shure products in my opinion, can get very expensive compare to other brands that offer cheaper products often equivalent, if is better in terms of quality.
But less than 200 euros, it's all good as compared qualitprix!
